Meet the Design Team

Well I'm officially counting down until our Challenge Blog starts, just 19 days to go! So its about time I introduced you all to our super talented design team members......

Keilly Mulvihill - Keilly's Little Blog
I have been with my partner, Jim, for 16 years and we have two gorgeous boys who are 6 and 4. I live in Hertfordshire, UK and have a part time office job. When not working or looking after my family, I like to let my creativity flow and enjoy all crafts with my favourite being cardmaking, scrapbooking (both paper and digital) and various altered art projects. I have enjoyed playing with paper and glue since I was a child but love using ribbons, twine and lace in all my projects. It was my love of these gorgeous ribbons that helped me decide to set up the ribbon reel online shop and eventually this new challenge blog. I am so excited and hope that we can all be inspired by the projects that are created and shared.

Debbie Marcinkiewicz - Simple Treasures
I have been married for 24 years and have two wonderful sons, ages 20 & 19! I absolutely adore anything shabby and vintage and even live in a pink Victorian home filled with old treasures and antiques! My love for all things time worn and well loved carries over to my paper craft design work. My 'comfort' design style is shabby and just a little bit vintage! A card or project isn't 'done' in my book until it's piled high with lots of layers of shabby love. I enjoy adding lots of fun embellishments to my work such as lace, ribbons, trims, pearls, doilies and buttons ... it just gives the completed piece such character and helps to create mini masterpieces out of paper and glue! I am tickled pink to be designing for The Ribbon Reel and hope that I can inspire all the visitors here with my little handmade from the heart paper crafted treasures!

Clare Buswell - Clare's Creations
I live in a small village called Athea in the south-west of Ireland with my partner Niall and our beautiful daughter Isabelle. Isabelle is three and is attending pre-school. I've always been creative in some form or another, I have a passion for painting and I've tried lots of different crafts over the years. I studied graphic design at art college. I only discovered stamping after the birth of my daughter when I had little time for any painting but longed to be creative. Card making was the perfect answer for me as it satisfied all my creative needs. I love that I'm creating something different all the time. I design regularly for Cardmaking and Papercraft Magazine in the UK.My other passion in life is gardening, I love flowers (you might have guessed it from my cards!) and we're lucky to have a large garden that I can fill with flowers and a few veggies too!

Pauline Pollington - Craft Obsession
My name is Pauline Pollington, and I'm a stay at home mum to three children, 2 girls and a boy. I live in Berkshire, UK, and have been married to David for almost 14 years. I discovered cardmaking about 2 years ago now, and I really enjoy discovering new techniques (of which there are many) and bloghopping, making new bloggie friends along the way. This is my first design team post, and I am truly honoured to be in a team with such talented ladies.

Zuzana Obert - Jelly Welly
My name is Zuzana Obert I've been married for two years and live with my lovely husband Boris in Kingston Upon Thames in UK. All my life I have loved art and craft. As a child I designed some jewellery for my sister and me. When I got a little older, I found that I loved to paint. About three years ago I discovered paper crafting and designed my whole wedding stationary. Everybody was so surprised and amazed. For me to design cards, playing with paper, glue and all fabulous embellishments is the most creative release. I am still learning new techniques, and collecting new experiences. I try to challenge myself each time I create card and make something unique, whether it's cute, bold or shabby. Seeing the smiles on the faces of someone I give a card to is priceless. Ribbons are the most yummy card embellishments so I am very thrilled to design for The Ribbon Reel.
